Welcome to Kerling Grace Stables. We are a large breeding stable located in a small, open town in upstate New York. We provide the online community with foals and adult Hanoverians, American Paint Horses, and Sport Horses for sale, stud, and competition lease. We buy and lease horses from other stables for raising, training, competing, and breeding. We have many large facilities to ensure there is no overcrouding and that each horse is getting its deserved attention from our staff members. Right now we have one stallion barn, one mare and foal barn, one youngstock barn, one individualized training barn, and one manager's house with a four-horse barn. We are still expanding and adding new branches to our stables, but as of now we are only breeding Hanoverians and American Paint Horses. With so many new staff members and so much room, we have been acquiring new breeds, opening new possibilities for breeding and competing.
Now, on to the horses...
Our Hanoverians are extremely talented and versatile as well as beautiful, as the breed is well known for. We try to get as many horses from other stables as we have of our own foundation horses to raise the quality and value of our foals. From experience, we know the Hanoverian breeding community can be tough to jump into, but we are willing to give it a try. So far, we have an excellent sellection of mares and stallions and we are excited at the prospect of breeding and selling the foals to continue their bloodlines in the community. Ability, Traits, Conformation, and Color are all important to us, and we will strive to produce foals that have all of these attributes.
Our Paint Horses are a very different story. Even so, we still have a main focus of producing the best foals we can from an amazing group of foundation horses. We also still absolutely love getting Paint foals from other stables, but as Paint Horse breeders know, there is a very heightened focus on the color of each horse rather than just its' abilities and conformation. Sometimes you have to give up good conformation for a horse with amazing color, and vise versa. Here at Kerling Grace Stables, we are going to focus on getting color, traits, and conformation into the foals that are sent out into the community. Obviously, a breeder's goal is to produce better and better quality of foals, and we will strive for it will all of our heart!

About the Owners/Founders
Twin sisters Mandi and Nikki Harrow had always dreamed of owning their own Hanoverian and Paint breeding farm. They lived on their parents' horse breeding farm until they were six years old. At that time their parents died in a fire and they were moved into a foster home. The farm their parents owned was sold as well as all 67 of their various horses, dogs and cats. The girls were heartbroken and they vowed that they would fulfill their dreams one day, and now here they are! They have managed to afford a beautiful farm with the money left by their parents and from the hard work they have done throughout the years. These two ladies are now dedicated to their horses and hope to be one of the most successful breeding farms on the web.
The Name
The name "Kerling Grace" is indeed not a normal one, but to Mandy and Nikki it is a dedication with a lot of meaning. The two girls bought their first horses years ago, and they would be Kerling and Grace! Kerling is Mandy's big black hanoverian stallion, and Grace is Nikki's beautiful palomino medicine hat paint mare. The two of them are the pride and joy of Mandy and Nikki, who got them both as foals and taught them all they know. Now Mandy and Nikki like to call themselves "experts" on raising hyper foals after Kerling's energy as a baby.
